On Friday 9th October, Ronan and his colleagues are walking to Oxford from Upper Heyford along the canal route to raise money for Nai's House. When asked why, Ronan shared these words with us:
"I am taking on this challenge in support of Nai's House, a wonderful Oxfordshire charity that provides vital mental health support to young people and their families. Every day, many people face battles with their mental health and organisations like Nai's House offer a safe place where people can find understanding, support, and hope.
Mental health affects us all, directly or indirectly, and it is something that is incredibly important to me. Like many families, my own family has been affected by some of the issues that Nai's House helps people to overcome. Through personal experience, I understand the impact that mental health challenges can have, not only on the individual but also on the people who love and care for them.
I am completing this walk in aid of anyone who is currently struggling with their mental health, to help raise awareness and support for those who need it most. I am also walking in memory of loved ones we have sadly lost, whose memories continue to inspire us every day.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Nai's House continue providing life-changing support to young people and families across our community.
Thank you for your support, generosity, and for helping make a difference".

At Nai's House we offer our services free of charge. Each session with a 1:1 Supporter costs £30. All money raised through Ronan's Walking Towards Wellbeing Fundraiser will go directly towards covering the costs of these vital sessions. Thank you.
