Every donation, of whatever amount, is incredibly important to our aims.
We believe that the more people trained in suicide prevention skills, the more opportunity there will be for those who are thinking of suicide to access support when they need it.
We have a vision of communities that are alert to the signs of suicide, are able to have direct and open conversations about suicide, and that can signpost those in the community that are thinking about suicide, to the help that they need.
The training that Nai’s House delivers, in partnership with Suicide Prevention Workshops, gives individuals the option to take on as much responsibility as they feel comfortable with in being able to help save a life.
We offer the following training courses:
Become more alert to suicide by being able to identify and talk to a person thinking of suicide, and to signpost them to safety.
3-4 hours: £70pp (includes refreshments).
Children can feel suicidal too, but they may not know how to express how they feel. This course shows you how to speak with 5-14 year olds about thoughts of suicide and how to assess the risk.
2 x 1/2 day (online - preparation required): £80pp.
Backed up by evidence and research, ASIST provides tools, techniques and a framework to work within when helping someone who is actively suicidal.
2 days: £170pp (includes lunch and refreshments).
Nai’s House regularly offers open training sessions which you can book online. Please check our News & Events for upcoming training dates.
Alternatively if you represent a group, you can arrange an exclusive training session for your members.
